The second season of 'The Blacklist' is just around the corner, and a new star has been reported to join the cast headlined by James Spader.

Actor Paul Reubens is set to appear in Season 2's third episode as a villain. Series producer, Jon Bokemkamp, spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the addition of the actor, and says that Reubens is expected to appear for at least two episodes.

"We're forgoing the bow tie and the bicycle, and it's going to be something totally different, and it's gonna be awesome," the actor said, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Bokenkamp added that writing Reuben's character was a "fun experience."

"It can't get strange enough for me. One of the most fun things is being able to write for actors who I've admired and think are interesting and try to play against expectations. I think this will be a fun one. I'd say he's gonna shake things up a bit when he enters Red's orbit," the actor continued.

Another star TV that has been added to the cast is actress Krystin Ritter, after an announcement in late July.

Ritter played Jane in the successful AMC award winning series, Breaking Bad, and her addition to the cast have been deemed by critics as "interesting," and "exciting."
