It all comes down to this. After three seasons, Elizabeth Keen might have to pick a side. Will she choose her mentor, Raymond Reddington, or her alleged father, Alexander Kirk?

Liz (Megan Boone) might be away from Kirk's (Ulrich Thomsen) clutches, but her daughter isn't. The previous episode saw Tom (Ryan Eggold) and Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) working together to try and save Agnes, while the task force tracks down a blacklister who kills young inventors. Sadly, Tom wasn't able to recover his daugher, but he was able to get his hands on DNA evidence that proved Kirk is Liz's father.

But it seems Red (James Spader) is still sticking to his guns and his statement that Kirk isn't who he said he is to Liz. He might have his chance to prove that in episode 6 when his nemesis contracts a mysterious group that specializes in hacking to get into the world's most-secure computer systems, giving Red and Liz the chance to make their move on Kirk's organization.

Unfortunately, Red's lies appear to have caught up with him. A trailer for the upcoming episode, "The Thrushes," hints that Liz is at a crossroad and might soon have to choose between Red or Kirk. The short clip starts with a confrontation between Red and Liz. He tells her that just because Kirk is her mother's husband, it "doesn't make him your father." But Liz obviously doesn't blindly trust Red anymore and compares him to a suspect who has been caught in a lie.

While the trailer suggests that Liz might have to pick a side, it's clearly a difficult choice to make. In one scene, Liz admits that Kirk is her father, while in another, Red points out that Agnes is her daughter. Red is clearly on the war path here and the SWAT team seems to be closing in on Kirk. The clip ends on a rooftop, with Red pointing a gun at Kirk. Liz stops him, though, and it's revealed that he has Agnes and he's standing on the edge of the roof.

Will Kirk go so far as use his alleged granddaughter for leverage or will he do the fatherly thing and return Agnes to Liz? Fans won't have to wait long as episode 6 of "The Blacklist" season 4 is set to air on Oct. 27 at 10 p.m.
