A mole is hiding in Red's (James Spader) elite team in the upcoming episode of "The Blacklist," and there is a high probability that it is going to be Samar (Mozhan Marnò).

As per the promo released by NBC, Red will find out that someone from the FBI task force has been helping one of the world's most dangerous terrorists. He tells Harold (Henry Lennix) about the discovery and they will promptly launch an investigation about the matter. The faces of Samar, Liz (Megan Boone), Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) and Aram (Amir Arison) are shown in the clip, suggesting that it is one of them. Speculations claim though that the spy is none other than Samar.

At the end of the teaser, Harold is talking to someone, warning him/her to choose where his/her loyalty lies. A glimpse of the person's nape and hair can be seen. From the shot, it is clear that he is speaking with Samar. How she will get involved with the terrorist remains to be seen in the new episodes. From how it looks like, their connection is strong enough to make her betray her friends. In the promo, Ressler is reporting to his bosses that they have been set up for an ambush. Liz and the others are worried that something worse will happen to their team soon.

Meanwhile, the upcoming episodes will also see what truly happened between Red and Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen). Red admitted that he was Liz's biological father. Kirk was about to end his life when he suddenly whispered something. When Liz got to Red, he was alive and Kirk was gone. Spoilers claim that Red is really Liz's father. He and Katarina (Lotte Verbeek) had an affair before. Red probably told Kirk that Katarina is still alive and is waiting for him somewhere. It is the one possible reason why he let Red live.
