"The Blacklist" has already been renewed for a fourth season, which means fans can look forward to seeing more of Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader). However, another main character was seemingly killed off in episode 18, titled "Mr. Solomon: Conclusion." Elizabeth "Liz" Keen (Megan Boone) appeared to have died after giving birth to her baby at the hospital.

Ever since then, people have been wondering if Liz is really dead. She has not been present in the episodes succeeding "Mr. Solomon: Conclusion" but her death is heavily discussed. Most importantly, everyone has been trying to figure out who murdered her.

However, there are some fans out there who are convinced that Liz isn't dead. Rumors have been spreading that Liz actually faked her own death, which means fans might get to see her in season 4. TV Guide reasons out that Liz's death happened off-screen, during a commercial break, which doesn't seem like a fitting end to one of the show's main characters. Additionally, Boone was actually pregnant during production for season 3 and it was written into the story. This could mean that Liz's fake death had to be included in the script because Boone eventually had to go on maternity leave.

All of these certainly suggest that Liz is still alive and well somewhere, but since nothing has been confirmed, fans should take the news with a grain of salt.

As for the fourth season's premiere, no exact date has been announced by the network. However, all speculations point to a fall premiere.

In the meantime, fans can take comfort in the last episode of the series' third season, which will reportedly show someone betraying Red. As of now, rumor has it that the traitor will be Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff), who can be seen pointing a gun to Red's head in the trailer.

Fans can tune in to the season 3 finale of "The Blacklist," titled "Alexander Kirk: Conclusion," on Thursday, May 19 on NBC.
