Unfortunately for its producers, a large number of people have already seen the upcoming movie, 'Expendables 3.'

On Wedneesday, a leaked copy started to emerge online and on the next day, the number of downloads reached its all-time high. It has been reported that in just 24 hours, over 189,000 copies were downloaded, with more than 42,000 marked to have happened inside the United States.

Because of the Expendables 3 leaks, the film's executives are concerned about the film's box office performance once it hits theaters in three weeks.

The leaked copy is said to have crisp and sharp quality, unlike the shaky videos produced by sneaking in a camcorder inside movie theatres.

According to reports, the leaked copy could have been the film's screener copy, which is sometimes opted to be sent to various media outlets for an opportunity to be reviewed before release.

Reports suggest that the file was uploaded by a user named "Drarbg," who is active on many file sharing sites such as infamous The Pirate Bay. The user is said to have received favorable comments from other users, calling him "prolific," in testimonials.

Expendables 3 is the follow-up to the star studded action franchise featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Antonio Banderas, Dolph Lundgren, Harrison Ford, Kelsey Grammer, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Wesley Snipes and Terry Crews.

The Expendables movie installments have been following a group of mercenaries, played by the actors mentioned, targeted by one of its founders, played by Mel Gibson.

Lionsgate, the distributor of Expendables 3, has not yet released any official comments regarding the leaks.
