Three more episodes to go and season 2 of "The Flash" will be at the finish line. Along with that comes the anticipation of what will happen in the end. Tom Cavanagh, who plays Dr. Harrison Wells in the series, teases that someone might die in the season finale.

Cavanagh said in an interview during an episode of DC All Access, "Crazy stuff happens. ... That's what we do at DC. We don't be like, 'Well we did that well, let's just repeat that.' We don't do that. We don't go like, 'Ah, they've had enough thrills,' we don't do that either.' Should we have someone die perhaps? I don't know, maybe."

He further teases that the payoffs in the finale are extreme, saying that in the domain of television, it is common to do something in all 22 episodes that builds up to the last one.

Some speculations say that the person who might say goodbye in "The Flash" is either Henry Allen (John Wesley Shipp) or Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), Barry's (Grant Gustin) two fathers, because it has been proven that they are willing to sacrifice their lives for the safety of their son in case there is a need to do so.

An image posted by YVR Shoots on Twitter seem to support these speculations. As indicated in the caption, the location is at Mountain View Cemetery in Vancouver, Canada.

Meanwhile, Carlos Valdes, who plays Cisco Ramon, reveals in a separate interview on Entertainment Weekly that the team will help each other to defeat Zoom at all cost. He said that their victory depends on each other and that there are "no backup plans anymore."

The "Flash" airs every Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST on the CW. The final episode, titled "The Race of His Life," will be aired on May 24.
