'The Good Wife' season 6 air date March 1? Archie Panjabi exits show

(CBS Network)Alicia and Frank Prady engage in debate while running for State Attorney's office

"The Good Wife" fans were disappointed when CBS network announced a delay in the premier of the thirteenth episode of season six of the show. As every episode of the show presents cliffhangers towards the end, the ending of episode 12 left many wanting answers to numerous questions.

Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) will be seen struggling between her State Attorney's campaign and her responsibilities towards the firm in episode 13. Avid watchers of the show may recall how Florrick had to explain to Cary Agos (Matt Czuchry) and Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) why she continues to run for State Attorney's office when her firm just lost a very important client. David Lee (Zach Grenier) is hired by Cary and Diane without Alicia's approval as she is engaged in a heated political debate, according to International Business Times. Additionally, Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) will finally tell Alicia his love affair with Ramona Lytton is over after breaking it off with her in episode 12.

CBS has delayed the screening of episode 13 in order to air the NFL Superbowl, Golden Globes and the Grammys. All the aforementioned events take place till end of February which means the show will most likely be aired on March 1, although CBS has provided no confirmation of the same. Other unfortunate news regarding "The Good Wife" is that Archie Panjabi, who plays the role of investigator Kalinda Sharma, will be exiting the show.

In an interview with Radio Times magazine, she revealed that she came to a decision to leave the show while kissing co-star Gillian Anderson in "The Fall". The Emmy-award winning actress said that it was time to say goodbye to "The Good Wife" after six years of playing Sharma's role. The London-based 42-year-old British actress will leave towards the end season six.
