Season 6 of the acclaimed legal drama "The Good Wife" has come to an end with an open question similar to the title of the finale "Wanna Partner?"

Driven by anger, Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) proposes a partnership with then unemployed Alicia Forrick (Julianna Margulies) to take revenge on the law firm Agos, Lockhart & Lee for terminating his wife. Alicia is yet to respond to his proposal knowing that if she agrees, it may mean going against friends from her previous firm, named partners Cary Agos (Matt Czuchry) and Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski).

Another event that has left a significant impact was the departure of private investigator Kalinda Sharma (Archie Panjabi) as she leaves Chicago for her safety. Sharma bade farewell to Alicia with an apology for sleeping with Alicia's husband, Peter (Chris Noth), causing a rift in their relationship.

With Kalinda's departure, it is interesting to see the effect it will have on Cary, her romantic partner. In an interview with HuffPost Live, Matt Czuchry gave his thoughts on Cary's situation in season 7. "Cary and Kalinda have had a strong friendship over 100-plus episodes, so that lack of closure is going to come into play in season 7. It would be interesting to see Cary with somebody else. Oftentimes we jump in relationships too soon after getting out of them, and it'd be interesting to see him to muddle through another relationship because he didn't get closure with Kalinda," Czuchry said.

Another thing to look out for in the return of the "Good Wife" is Peter being asked to run for vice president, which Alicia is opposing as it will place their family under heavy scrutiny. However, Peter tells Alicia that he will only run if the whole family approves it.

CBS renewed "The Good Wife" for season 7 on May 11,  though there are no reports about the season's premiere date as of now.
