'The Hobbit 3' movie spoilers: New 'The Battle of the Five Armies' visuals published

Exclusive new images of the third installment of The Hobbit have been released and it show some expected scenes that will be seen in 'The Hobbit 3: The Battle of the Five Armies' movie.

Released by Entertainment Weekly, the image is a tapestry that can be zoomed in to reveal details.

At the far left, a vicious-looking Smaug can be seen with Lake-town in flames. At the end of 'Desolation of Smaug,' the dragon is seen headed on its way to the town with this aftermath already foreseen.

Next seen in the released tapestry is a possibly dying Gandalf aided by Galadriel (Cate Blanchett).

Also in the tapestry is Thorin Oakenshield (played by actor Richard Armitage), who is seen with a look of despair on his face as he sits on his throne. Bilbo Baggins (played by actor Martin Freeman) is seen in front of him with a sword in his hand.

Entertaiment Weekly is not the only media hub that's excited for 'The Hobbit 3' premiere.

Empire Magazine's September issue features 'The Battle of the Five Armies' and shows Smaug (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch) and Bard (Luke Evans) on opposite sides with the copy "Bard vs. Smaug."

In the Empire cover story, director Peter Jackson said, "I think of this third movie as a psychological thriller with actions scenes interspersed in the middle of it."

"It has for a very tight narrative structure," the director added.
