'The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure' update: Dylan O'Brien to resume filming soon

(Facebook/Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials)It is said that Dylan O'Brien will soon resume shooting his scenes for "The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure."

After the shocking accident that almost cost his life earlier this year, it is said that Dylan O'Brien is not totally healed yet but will soon resume shooting his scenes for "The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure."

To recall, it was in March this year when O'Brien grabbed headlines after he got involved in a freak accident that almost claimed his life while shooting his scenes for "The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure." Based on earlier reports, Dylan was harnessed to a vehicle in a scene while attempting to climb another vehicle in front of him. However, the vehicle he was anchored to slowed down ahead of the one he was supposed to climb, hence, he fell off and went under the very vehicle that harnessed him.

The said incident caused O'Brien concussions, facial fracture, and lacerations.

Seven months since that accident happened, it is said that the young actor is still not fully healed as he still needs to monitor his blood pressure. Nonetheless, it is also reported that the actor is in the process of shooting his scenes for "The American Assassin" movie and will soon resume shooting his scenes for "The Maze Runner 3"

Two months ago, fans finally got an idea on how O'Brien looks like after the accident when the actor headed to a Jamba Juice store where an employee asked for a photo with him and uploaded it on her Twitter account. As the actor was heavily bearded, it was assumed that he had not returned to filming his scenes for "The Maze Runner 3"

As O'Brien is also part of MTV's "Teen Wolf," and the series is slated to return for its sixth and final season next month, fans will see more of the actor's post-accident version of himself.

Meanwhile, because of O'Brien's accident, the showing date of "The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure" has been moved. Instead of arriving in February next year, the movie is now slated for release on Jan. 12, 2018.
