Episode 19 of season two of "The Originals" was shocking to say the least. Fans saw as evil aunt Dahlia killed Aidan and framed Klaus for it. Even those considered closest to the evil hybrid werewolf-vampire didn't doubt that he killed him. How will the Mikaelson family protect Hope now that Klaus is in difficulty?

The official description of episode 20 by TVGuide, named "City Beneath The Sea", reveals that Dahlia will give Klaus some startling details about baby Hope. She makes him an enticing proposition following the revelation. Meanwhile, Elijah and Freya come up with opposing ideas on how to handle Dahlia's impending deadline. Vincent makes Davina an intriguing offer while Hayley makes a difficult decision following a tense stand-off between Jackson and Elijah. This decision is about her and baby Hope's future.

But what will happen to Josh now that his lover Aidan is dead? Will he seek vengeance? Executive producer Michael Narducci spoke to TVGuide following the wolf's death. Regarding Josh's reaction after learning Aidan's death, Narducci reveals that no matter how angry he is on Klaus, he knows that he is just a young vampire while Klaus is a hybrid werewolf-vampire having lived for several centuries. "So, the first thing he needs to do is wrap his head around how he's going to recover from this grief and that's something we explore in the next episode." Fans should expect a grieving Josh.

Narducci and actor Joseph Morgan, who plays Klaus, also revealed some information about the season's final episode to TVGuide. No character will be safe and some will be in very dire situations. Morgan teased the most interesting tit-bit, "But there's also a very unexpected action from a character which turns the tide completely at the last moment."

Episode 20 of "The Originals" airs on Monday, April 27 at 8 p.m. ET on CW.
