(Bravo/Facebook)Bethenny Frankel joins season 7 cast of "RHOBH"

"The Real Housewives Of New York City" (RHONY) is infusing the show with new faces. Dorinda Medley, friend of Ramona Singer, was previously reported to a part of the season seven cast and now a former housewife is proud to be back on the show.

Bethenny Frankel, who exited the show in 2010, is back and discussed her exit and subsequent re-entry on the show to executive producer Andy Cohen in "Watch What Happens Live". Cohen, who is also the host of "Watch What Happens Live", asked Bethenny why she left the show in the first place. Bethenny told him that, "I felt like it was a little something to not be proud of."

Frankel's confession came when Cohen asked her if she felt she was becoming too big for the show back in 2010. Frankel further elaborated that, "There was a point when I was a little embarrassed to be a housewife. There was a time when I was in it that it felt kind of not what I started out as, and that's why I walked away."

So why has the mother-of-one brunette come back now? She admits that the show has changed since her exit and so has she. Frankel also confessed to feeling proud to be back on "RHONY" and felt it was different now.

She has much to thank the reality show for, as her line of cocktail mixes, called Skinnygirl, has been quite successful. In 2011, the former-now-present housewife on the show sold her Skinnygirl brand to Fortune Brands Beam Global for reportedly $100 million, reports Daily Mail. Since leaving "RHONY", Bethenny starred in two spin-off series titled "Bethenny Getting Married" and "Bethenny Ever After", the latter airing her bitter arguments with husband Jason Hoppy.

The New York based housewife told People that she's single and entangled in an ugly divorce battle with her husband. She has also split with boyfriend Michael Cerussi III and plans to never ever get married again. The housewife has a 4-year-old daughter Brynn.

Frankel will be joined by cast members Ramona Singer, Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, LuAnn de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan. The show airs on April 7 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
