EA's game series "The Sims" has been one of its best selling computer games of all time.

The game developers have done an incredible job over the years of simulating real world experiences for its players. Building homes, finding jobs and developing relationships have been some of the key activities in the game.

According to Rachel Franklin, Vice President and General Manager of the Sims Studio, the game enables players to play with life; to do the things they want or wish to do.

EA has released several "The Sims 4" game updates so that players can keep playing in the ever-expanding Sims universe.

Earlier this year, a free update gave players more land space in order to build new homes and establish more businesses. The World of Newcrest gave players three new neighborhoods, each with five empty slots.

EA is set to release the first major expansion update, "Get Together," later this year. The upcoming expansion pack is set to bring in new diverse features into the game, including new settings, new activities and new items.

The "Get Together" expansion pack will introduce players to a new location called "Windenburg."

According to Franklin, this "new world is a wonderful blend of European modern culture and historical style." Players can discover new cool hotspots and have fun new experiences with their friends. "Life is better and way more fun with friends," Franklin added.

In "Get Together," players can also go to different posh clubs to party or even establish their own club later on. New dancing and DJ-ing skills will reportedly be introduced in this update.

It will also introduce new activities such as swimming in rivers and playing football.

According to the official announcement from "The Sims," the expansion pack will also allow players to explore a variety of different settings. They can party at the Ancient Ruins, have coffee in swanky cafés and even go for a trip in the charming countryside.

The "Get Together" expansion pack will be released in November 2015.
