The Sims 4: New aspirations, traits; premium membership, 20-minute gameplay demo

(PHOTO: The Sims Official Website)New neighborhood, crazier stories, creative tools and smarter sims will be featured in the upcoming The Sims 4.

The Sims 4 20-minute gameplay demo highlights three important things: absence of toddlers and pools, premium membership and intense emotions.

With this and other perceived shortcomings, Executive Producer Rachel Franklin wrote:

"The fact is, we owe you a clearer explanation for why pools and toddlers will not be in The Sims 4 at launch. It begins with new technology and systems that we built for this new base game for The Sims – a new AI system, new animation system, new audio positioning tools, new locomotion logic, new routing intelligence and much more are all entirely new in this game."

Electronic Arts (EA) also reveals plans of releasing "The Sims 4 Premium" that extends exclusive and new content to members only.

When a user enters the gallery, a brief on-screen advertisement for The Sims 4 Premium pops out.

The ad reads:

"Become a Premium member to get early access to 3 new packs, with exclusive items. Your Sims can throw a spooky costume party, camp in the great outdoors, and toast to the new year in style."

This development causes a stir as fans see the game to be filled with DLC and expansion packs that they will need to be purchased in the future.

Beyond the physical chiseling, players are presented with several psychological and emotional options that make this series more exciting.

There are plenty of personality options that a user can combine – a genius and romantic lad who hates children? No problem.
