'The Walking Dead' season 5 spoilers: Tyreese's death, one character hallucinates and the group heads to safe-zone Alexandria

(AMC/Official Facebook page)Rick Grimes and his team return on Feb. 8.

Survival isn't an option for Rick Grimes' (Andrew Lincoln) group of rag-tag survivors in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies. "The Walking Dead" went on a season break after the heart-breaking death of Beth (Emily Kinney).

What will season five's second part bring to the story? Showrunner Scott M. Gimple spoke to The Hollywood Reporter to reveal spoilers and hints for the upcoming episodes. Gimple confirms that, in the immediate future, Rick's group will be on the run and without a safe-house. But the show-runner also confirmed that the group will be headed to Alexandria, a safe-zone, located in Richmond. Incidentally, the safe-zone is located just six miles from Washington, D.C. Fans may recall that Glenn and Eugene's group were close to the capital before Eugene revealed he isn't really a scientist.

Alexandria is also the longest-running safe-zone and current location of Robert Kirkman's comic of the same name. Ross Marquand is now a confirmed cast member and rumored to play the role of Aaron, a gay recruiter of Alexandria. Aaron will cross paths with Rick's group in Washington. A new villain called Neegan will be worse than the Governor and a huge threat to Alexandria. Gimple commented, "Negan in general is going to be challenging".

Spoiling Dead fans, a community on Facebook that is famous for leaking accurate spoilers, including predicting Beth's death, revealed that Tyreese will die in the upcoming episodes. Apparently, Tyreese gets bitten by a walker in a location called Shirewilt, so fans many have to say goodbye to this character.

Design & Trend also report that one main character will hallucinate extensively and that petrified people's deliriums will go on and on. Additionally, Gimple has previously said that the show will undergo a major change so fans should expect something radical in future episodes.

Will Alexandria finally be a place Rick's group can rest in? Does Tyreese die? Which character suffers from hallucinations? Find out by watching "What Happened And What's Going On" on AMC on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 9 p.m.
