'The Walking Dead' season 6 spoilers: Did Norman Reedus teases major character's death may be coming

"The Walking Dead" is arguably one of the most anticipated shows this fall as season six hits the small screen in October 2015. Fans of the series are already guessing which major character is set to die next. While speculating which of Rick Grimes' group member meets his maker or gets devoured by walkers, fans invariably look towards Robert Kirkman's comic books which serve as the show's original source material.

According to the Kirkman's brilliantly written comic books, Glenn is set to die next. When the plot's next big bad Negan comes into the picture he kills the Korean character by smacking him with a baseball bat. While there has not been any confirmation that he will die, actor Norman Reedus may have just confirmed Glenn's death.

In a recent discussion involving the cast members at Comic-Con, several actors were asked which dead character they would like to bring back on the show. Sonequa Martin-Green, who plays Sasha, voted for Shane while special effects master, Greg Nicotero, made a case of Lori's comeback.

Reedus, who plays Daryl, appeared half-asleep before saying "Glenn." The cast members looked annoyed before Nicotero cleared the air that Glenn is still alive. Did Reedus just confirm Glenn's death?

But then again he could just be fueling rumors. "The Walking Dead" has not always religiously followed its original source material. Andrea is still supposed to be alive and there is no character called Daryl in the series.

Meanwhile, speculations are doing the rounds on who would play the show's next antagonist, Negan. Back in March, several publications reported that Jon Hamm expressed his interest in playing the dark character. However, actor Kevin Durand also revealed that he would love to play the character but is tied up with filming "The Strain" and "Vikings," reports Comic Book.

"The Walking Dead" premieres season six on Oct. 11, 2015 on AMC.
