Following the epic and most eye-popping finale yet in "The Walking Dead," there is a lot of buzz on the events that will unveil who Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) victim is once season seven premieres.

In the last episode of season six, viewers were treated to a cliffhanger that attracted the insights of fans and experts alike. Shortly after the episode wrapped up, fans started speculating that Glenn (Steven Yeun) was the one who received the blow from Negan's wire-wrapped baseball bat.

Considering that Yeun has a busy schedule this summer, fans believe that he might indeed be the one beloved character who will walk out of the series next. Glenn is undeniably one of the favorite characters in the show but his fanbase is not as massive as Daryl's (Norman Reedus).

Unfortunately, a new report suggests that there is a fit chance he may be Negan's poor victim. It might be possible for Glenn to escape death for the second time and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Carl (Chandler Riggs) have long been cleared off death by the nemesis.

Based on the scenes that quickly passed on the episode in question, it could really be Glenn. However, TV Line says that fans shouldn't forget how the show has made fans believe that Glenn was killed in the past but he shockingly survived.

That leaves fans with Daryl, who has one of the lead roles. Games Radar notes that the producers have time and time again emphasized the upcoming death of a "major" character in the hands of Negan.

Daryl's tenure in the show makes him a possible target for the EPs to kill off. Aside from Glenn, Daryl is among the first cast members who started during the first installment including Carl and Rick among others.

Reedus has also said previously that small screens should expect something really big once the series returns. Though he didn't give any names or further drop hints on the identity of Negan's victim, that doesn't remove him from the list of possible actors to exit the hit show.

"The Walking Dead" season seven is expected to premiere sometime in October 2016.
