'The Walking Dead' season 7 teasers, news: Rick prepares for war in season 7B teasers

When "The Walking Dead" returns on AMC this February, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of the members of Alexandria will be focused on bringing down Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his men.

(Facebook/ TheWalkingDeadAMC)Rick and his men are ready to fight in "The Walking Dead" season 7.

AMC recently revealed photos of the upcoming season, which suggest that Rick and his family of survivors will be trying to make an alliance with the Hilltop. A number of photos tease the risks they are going to make to take down the Saviors.

As revealed in the photos, Lincoln's Rick, Katelyn Nacon as Enid, Danai Gurira as Michonne, Tom Payne as Paul "Jesus" Rovia, Changler Riggs as Carl Grimes, Sonequa-Martin Green as Sasha, Alanna Masterson as Tara Chambler, Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon, and Christian Serrators as Rosita Espinosa will all be in the Hilltop community.

According to the synopsis, the group will aim to get the Hilltop and The Kingdom on their side. However, the Hilltop's leader, Gregory (Xander Berkeley), and The Kingdom's Ezekiel (Khary Payton) will not be too excited about the thought of bloodshed, which doesn't come as a surprise, given that they have spent all their time tolerating all of the Saviors' harassments. Their refusal for bloodshed will make it harder for Rick to convince them with his empowering speeches. Perhaps new communities and new alliances will even be formed in the second half of the season, and maybe they will even contribute to the fall of the Saviors.

In "The Walking Dead" season 7B, viewers can expect the group to gear up for an all-out war against the saviors. But in the midst of their schemes, viewers will also see treachery from people who seem to be trustworthy and the group will reportedly be thrust into a series of challenges.

"The Walking Dead" season 7 returns Feb. 12 at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
