CD Projekt Red, the developer behind "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," has finally announced and revealed the final free DLC for the open-world game.

In the developer's tweet last July 27, it was announced that the final content for the IP is going to be called "NG ," which can also be referred to as "New Game Plus." Sadly, fans would have to wait a bit longer for this downloadable content to be available.

As mentioned on their Twitter post, "NG , the final FREE DLC, is on the way! Stay tuned. Won't happen this week - we need a bit more time to finish it."

According to PC Gamer's explanation of the feature, New Game Plus, players who have already finished the game can previously play it again from the first stage or story, however, with new DLC, instead of starting from scratch, gamers will retain some, if not all, of their items from the previously completed game run.

As pointed out by the website, the promotional photo for the DLC includes some in-game items like weapons, armors and other essential things. So chances are high that the additional content might probably allow players to restart the game with some of their acquired items from the first playthrough.

Of course, this is just pure speculation at the moment. It is simply based on the description of the New Game Plus feature so it is best to take it with a grain of salt for now and wait for the official announcement of CD Projekt Red.

Meanwhile, the other 15 free DLCs for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" are now available for download. As reported by GameSpot, some of the previously released contents are costumes and brand new hairstyles for the two characters, Geralt and Yennefer, horse armor, new quests for players to complete and a new finisher move, which was just released last week.
