The Nov. 20 episode of 'The Young and the Restless' taught certain lessons on motherhood and its early stages, as one of the soap's character, Victoria, is faced with a tough decision that can affect the lives of her child and the "potential family."

In the latest episode, Victoria's life has changed dramatically since becoming a mother, and she will now have to face the two men in her life, Stitch and Billy. Victoria will have to make a decision as to with who of them she will raise her daughter, and this will also affect Stitch and Billy's lives.

Meanwhile, the previous episode of The Young and the Restless saw how Nick and Sharon each try to find ways to win custody of their daughter, Faith. Avery paid Sharon a visit, being Nick's lawyer, to remind her of all the things she has done to manipulate Nick.

Avery then told Sharon that there is no way that the custody battle could favor her. Ironically, Avery plays a double card and tells Nick that there is a strong chance that Sharon will win the case.

As for Michael, he visits the doctor to find out more details about his cancer, which is now on stage 1. Kevin interrupts the doctor's appointment to find answers for himself.
