'Thor 3' release date predicted for May 2017
At the 2014 Comic-Con, Disney-owned Marvel released a schedule of future releases dating up to May 2019, including a "Thor 3" release date prediction.
The first release on the line is "Avengers: Age of Ultron" on May 1, 2015, followed by "Ant-Man" on July 17, 2015. "Captain America" is set to follow on May 6, 2016.
Two dates were skipped after the announcement that the sequel of "Guardians of the Galaxy" is set for July 8, 2017.
Of the two dates skipped, Den of Geek predicted that the May 5, 2017 slot is most likely the Thor 3 release date.
Den of Geek also predicted that the July 8, 2016, surprise release will be filled in by "Doctor Strange," considering that it already has a writer and a director.
As for the November 3, 2017, release, the same website cited three possible movie releases: "Captain Marvel," "Black Panther," or a standalone movie for Nova, though the writer claims that the predictions are "completely unsupported."
