For the third installment of the Thor movie franchise, fans of Tom Hiddleston will not be pleased to find out that it may mean the death of their beloved Loki.

According to Movie Pilot, 'Thor 3: Ragnarok,' is deemed to follow the story trail of the comic book. In it, Thor travels to Asgard with Fire Demon, where Thor wins against the Demon and then later rips off Loki's head. In the process, Thor is also expected to lose his hammer, Mjolnir.

Though there are still no details released regarding the plot of 'Thor 3,' its lead actor, Chris Hemsworth, suggested that an 'Armageddon aspect' is a clear direction that the movie will take.

"I think that in the comic book the sort of end of days, Armageddon aspect is probably the direction in which it will all head in. Where it's sort of the end of all things and there's obviously no script or anything when I read the comic books I thought it was an interesting way to go," Hemsworth told Screen Rant.

Hemsworth also talked about his role as Thor in the upcoming 'Avengers 2: Age of Ultron' movie, and said that he is 'excited.'

"I'm excited to see how this unlikely group of beings forms a team and how they continue. In the Avengers they got together there and went on their separate ways and now they're back again," Hemsworth added.
