Electronic Arts announced the third DLC pack for Titanfall during its press conference at Gamescon 2014 on August 13. 'IMC Rising' will add three new maps to the game and is scheduled for a release date some time this fall.

The first DLC (Expedition) was revealed last April while the second DLC (Frontier's Edge) was made available in July.

The second DLC arrived last July 31 on Xbox One and PC, carrying three new maps that include Dig Site, Export and Haven.

Each DLC pack costs $9.99, but the season pass can give players up to $5 dollar savings.

The season pass delivers three packs as they become available for a total price of $24.99.

The multiplayer-themed shooter is playable on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

Titanfall is a massive success and has now surpassed the 3 million sales mark, wherein majority was presumed to be from Xbox One sales.

The solid gameplay, stunning visuals and engaging settings have magnetized humongous following from around the world.

Titanfall's success came even with the fact that they are exclusive to Xbox consoles, leaving PlayStation fanatics to hope for a version of their own.

With such feat, it is not surprising to see the proliferation of speculations of a sequel, Titanfall 2.

Venture Capitalist Post reported that Titanfall 2 could be heading the PlayStation realm sooner or later.

In June, Motoring Crunch mentioned of a possible PlayStation version of the next Titanfall.

If its exclusivity to Xbox has given them enormous traction and sales, the next sound decision is to broaden their horizon and go the direction of the Sony console.

Aside from the Titanfall IMC Rising DLC pack, EA at the press briefing also discussed details about The Sims 4, FIFA 2015, Dragon Age Inquisition and Battlefield Hardline.
