'Tokyo Ghoul' season 3 rumors: Anime to return in March 2017

(Facebook/Tokyo Ghoul)The latest in the rumor mill is that "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 will finally arrive in March 2017.

While many fans have expected that "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 would arrive this winter season, the latest in the rumor mill is that production changes have caused the anime to be delayed. Hence, its upcoming and highly anticipated season will now arrive in March 2017 instead.

According to reports, the transition of the production of the anime from Studio Pierrot to Madhouse Entertainment is one of the biggest reasons for the delay of "Toyko Ghoul" season 3. While this may cause the delay of the release of the upcoming season, this piece of news is a welcome to fans who were disappointed with how the anime's former studio handled the anime's sophomore season.

To recall, fans protested that "Tokyo Ghoul" season 2 veered away from its manga counterpart. In fact, many supported the petition that it be rebooted by another studio as fans believed Studio Pierrot failed them big time.

Now that Madhouse Entertainment is under the ward of "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3, many fans believe that the anime series will experience a lot of positive changes, especially in terms of its graphics. After all, Madhouse Entertainment is known for its impressive anime creations, such as the equally popular "One Punch Man," "Death Note," and "Hunter X Hunter."

Meanwhile, apart from the unconfirmed reports on "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 getting possibly released in March next year, it is also said that the upcoming season of the anime will not only cast the spotlight on Ken Kaneki but on Kirishima Touka as well. Allegedly, the anime will follow her life in a university and will shed light on why she harbors ill feelings toward Ken Kaneki.

It is also heavily rumored that "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 will feature Ken Kaneki assuming a different identity, Haise Sasaki, because of his amnesia following his defeat to Arima in season 2.

Will "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 finally arrive in March next year? Fans can only hope so.
