Tracy Morgan is being assisted by his close friends so he can experience walking outside, as photographed on Sunday.

Comedian Tracy Morgan is still recovering from a crash last June at the New Jersey turnpike, and though the 30 Rock star is struggling, his fighting spirit is strong.

Morgan was pictured seeking the help of his friends as he tries to use a walker to go to a barber shop near his residence in New Jersey, and was photographed with a pained expression on his face.

The actor wore a leather jacket, blue jeans and sneakers as he tries to make his way beside the street, with his friends watching as he takes little steps. It is obvious how his friends do not seem to take their eyes off of him, ensuring his safety.

The comedian's trip to the barber shop on Sunday marks the fourth time he has seen in public since the crash that killed his friend and colleague, James McNair. Morgan received fractures on his rib, leg, and nose, and a traumatic brain injury when a Wal-Mart delivery truck smashed his limousine. The 46-year-old actor was seen out earlier this month when he was on his way to go to the post office. Reporters who were able to speak to the actor claim that Morgan said that he is "fighting every day" for his recovery.

Though struggling, there was some light for Morgan as he was able to win the latest round of the legal battle of his case against Wal-Mart when the judge refused to delay the case. Kevin Romper, the driver of the Wal-Mart truck, asked for a delay in hearings but was not given favor. Romper is facing criminal charges for the accident.

Wal-Mart denied claims that they are trying to push back the hearings.
