'Transformers: The Last Knight' news: Bumblebee's new look revealed

(Twitter / Transformers)Updated Autobots and Decepticons looks have been generously shared by "Transformers: The Last Knight" and fan favorite Bumblebee's form has been revealed.

The people behind "Transformers: The Last Knight" have been generous in sharing visual details for the upcoming film and the latest look unveiled is of fan favorite Bumblebee.

Described as young, scrappy, and hungry, Bumblee stands 18 feet tall in its autobot form. He is the second-in-command who has always been assigned to protect the Autobots' human allies. He is a loyal guardian and scout.

In the first films, he was depicted to be not as strong as the other Autobots but is determined to show their leader, Optimus Prime, that he is capable of doing what others can do as well. He was first assigned to Sam Witwicky, played by actor Shia LaBeouf, lead character of the first three films.

In the previously released "Transformers: Age of Extinction," he became guardian of Cade Yeager and his family. Cade is portrayed by lead actor Mark Wahlberg, who will reprise his role in the upcoming "Transformers: The Last Knight."

The new form resembles his previous looks with recognizable enhancement in the head area. His car-form was revealed in June by director Michael Bay himself as he thanks General Motors for the custom-made vehicle. Along with the photo, the caption says, "Bee is back! @generalmotors really got it done with this custom-built 2016 Camaro. #transformers."

Although behind-the-scenes footages and images are generously shared, details on the storyline remain scarce. News form JoBlo suggests that the next film will feature Optimus Prime returning to Cybertron only to find out their planet lifeless. An artifact from Earth will be needed to restore their place so he goes back to retrieve it. The artifact is reportedly tied to Merlin the Magician whose magical abilities were given by a Transformer.

"Transformers: The Last Knight" is scheduled for release on June 23, 2017.
