'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End' news, updates: Reviews site hails game as 2016's best

As the year closes, reviews aggregator Metacritics hailed "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" as the best game in 2016. Metacritics is one of the most referenced sites in terms of a title's reception since it generates reviews from actual consumers.

Reports mentioned that "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" finished with an overall 93 percent rating. However, they also noted that the 93 percent rating is relatively lower compared to the other list toppers in previous years.

In 2012, "The Walking Dead" gained 95 percent as well as "Metal Gear Solid V" in 2015. On the other hand, in 2013, "Grand Theft Auto V" had a close to perfect rating of 97 percent.

Following "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is the Xbox One game "Inside" and PC games "Out of the Park Baseball 17" and "The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine" all with 92 percent. With 91 percent are "Overwatch" and "Forza Horizon 3." Joining the group with exactly 90 percent are "Stephen's Sausage Roll," "NBA 2K17" and "Kentucky Route Zero - Act IV."

Having had a good year, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is expected to continue with a good performance, especially now that developers have released more details on the upcoming premium downloadable content of the game which features different protagonists and playable characters.

Naughty Dog will release the "Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy" DLC featuring Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross teaming up for a thrilling journey in India with the main goal of finding a precious artifact called "The Tusk of Ganesha."

Players of "Uncharted 4" will know that Chloe and Nadine are not from a common side. However, in this DLC, they have no choice but to join forces to stop someone else from acquiring "The Tusk of Ganesha."

The girls are also expected to get new skills in the DLC. Reports say that players will get to see Chloe's skill set that include lock-picking and sleuthing.
