The closed beta for "Uncharted 4" just ended and it brought with it a lot of unanswered questions. However, one of the main questions that were being pushed around was whether the game which is going to be released by Sony next year will ever have an open beta.

Reporting on the recently concluded beta, Gamespot states that there will never be an open beta scheduled for the game. This means that players will never get to the try out the game and make a decision about it before it arrives in stores. Importantly this information came via a comment made by the Director of Communications at Naughty Dog, Arne Meyer. Meyer made the comment in reply to a post on the PlayStation Blog and stated that the developer had no plans for an open beta.

With the closed beta ending yesterday for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" it means that the developer Naughty Dog is going to be concentrating on the game's release which is due to take place in March of next year. The game "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" has been conducting a closed beta since the beginning of the month, but there has been a fair amount of controversy about it.

Importantly, the controversy surrounded a contest that was open to people in the North America only. As part of it, those who took part in the closed beta got a chance to be part of a lucky draw. After which the winner will be provided with copy of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" and subsequently they will also be provided with a limited collector's edition of the game.

Finally there could be other closed betas for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" as gamers from various countries have been expressing their ire at the rules governing the contest. Cinema Blend states that Naughty Dog might change their plans and choose to include gamers from such locations.
