Donald Trump has gone and put his foot in his mouth again as the multi-millionaire's comments against Mexicans have prompted Univision to drop the Miss USA pageant from its roster.

Trump recently announced that he is running for president. During his speech, Trump blasted immigrants from Mexico who "have lots of problems" and told Americans that they are "bringing those problems to us."

"They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists," he said, but added "and some, I assume, are good people."

The news quickly created a backlash, with people condemning Trump for his hate-filled rhetoric. Shortly after, Univision announced that it is canceling its telecast of the Miss USA pageant. The company also said that it was cutting all its business ties to Trump because of his "insulting remarks about Mexican immigrants."

The company released a statement that said "at Univision, we see first-hand the work ethic, love for family, strong religious values and the important role Mexican immigrants and Mexican-Americans have had and will continue to have in building the future of our country.

The broadcasting company is the largest Spanish-language network in the USA so its cancelation of the pageant and its refusal to do any business with the tycoon will have an impact on the Miss Universe Organization, which is a joint venture of Trump and Comcast's NBC Universal section.

Univision's decision did not appear to faze Trump who guested on Fox News and said that he is standing by his statement. He also said that he plans on suing Univision for its decision to drop the Miss USA pageant because they have a signed contract.

Aside from Univision, Roselyn Sanchez and Cristian De La Fuente, the co-hosts of the pageant's Spanish-language simulcast, have also dropped out.

In her post on Instagram, Sanchez wrote in Spanish that she has dropped out as co-host because she does not "tolerate the disrespectful and hurtful words that came out of Mr. Trump's mouth." Her co-host also echoed the same sentiment in a video he posted on Facebook and said that it was such "a shame that such an important institution as Miss USA is in the hands of a clown."
