'UnREAL' season 2 spoilers: Quinn and Rachel will do what it takes to deliver 'Everlasting' ratings

(Facebook/UnrealOnLifetime)Quinn and Rachel's relationship to be a central focus of season 2.

"UnREAL," the critically acclaimed drama providing behind-the-scenes look into dating reality shows like "The Bachelor" returns this June for another dark and gritty season. Quinn (Constance Zimmer) and Rachel (Shiri Appleby) are now in charge of show-within-the-show "Everlasting" and will do whatever is necessary to deliver suicide ratings. Quinn and Rachel also immerse themselves in their work after breaking up with their respective partners last season.

"[Rachel and Quinn's relationship] is really the central love story of the show. It's not really about Rachel and Quinn finding love with men — it's about them being working women together," Appleby revealed during the show's Paley Center panel.

However, their new partnership won't mean that everything will be smooth-sailing. There will still be a lot of moments where they will be at odds with each other.

"This season, what's been hard for us is Rachel and Quinn are at odds with each other. We're always plotting when we're apart," Zimmer added.

A lot of season 2's crazy storylines will also revolve around "Everlasting." The new season of the dating reality show will have an African American bachelor and possibly a few racist contestants. According to showrunner Carol Barbee, this will allow the show to touch upon issues that are very relevant to the country right now.

Based on the promo, Quinn and Rachel will do whatever it takes to ensure the success of their show.

"We don't solve problems. We make them and point cameras at them," Rachel reveals in the promo. In another scene, a contestant is reduced to tears after Rachel prods the camera man to ask whether she killed her dead fiancé. Quinn and Rachel prove to be a terrifying combination as they drive the contestants to their breaking points.

Season 2 of "UnREAL" premieres on June 6, Monday, at 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
