On the one-year anniversary of actor Paul Walker's tragic passing five months ago, daughter Meadow Walker posted a picture on Instagram of her as a toddler accompanied by her father with the caption, "I love you!" The tender moment was a nod to the two's strong father-daughter bond and helped assuage concerned fans hoping for Meadow's continued well-being.

Earlier this week, Meadow posted another photo showing her and her father in one of their happy moments together. The small heartfelt tribute once again served as a reminder of memories past and illustrated that the late actor's memory is still in many people's minds.

Meanwhile, cast members of the Fast and Furious franchise continue to lend their support to Walker's daughter as they cope in their own way with the loss of their close friend. In particular, Walker's co-star in the series Vin Diesel was seen in another picture posted by Meadow as they shared a happy moment with friends.

Diesel has been particularly vocal about the effect his close friend Paul had on his life and even sang a brief portion of the Furious 7's memorial song "See You Again" at a recent awards show as a tribute to his fallen compatriot.

In an interview with E Online, Diesel spoke about what he learned about fatherhood from Walker. "He went into fatherhood a lot earlier than I did. He took on that role of kind of being the guide into fatherhood for me. It's kind of beautiful. The one thing Paul always wanted me to do was be present at my child's birth. He was so adamant about it."

Diesel further explained that the memory of Paul will live on in some way through his third child which he named Pauline. "When I was in the delivery room, I said that I felt like Paul was there. I named her Pauline. He was in the room. There's no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. It felt like, you know, a way to keep his memory as a part of my family and a part of my world."
