Warner Bros. and Rocksteady—with the help of Nvidia—has just released their first patch to fix the performance and crashing issues of "Batman: Arkham Knight" for the PC platform, according to GameSpot.

Players of the game reported last week that they are experiencing some major inconvenience when launching and playing the game. Few of the reported issues were frame-rate stuttering and unnecessary game crashes.

The publisher and developer of the IP took these issues so seriously that Warner Bros. even pulled the game out of the market last week, as said on our previous report.

"Rocksteady is leading our team of developers and partners as we work on the PC performance issues that players have been encountering." Warner Bros. Community Admin Yorick said on the game's forum. "The work is significant and while we are making good progress on improving performance, it will take some time to ensure that we get the right fixes in place."

Here is the list of fixes that was included in the patch recently released by the developers of "Batman: Arkham Knight":

  • Fixed a crash that was happening for some users when exiting the game
  • Fixed a bug which disabled rain effects and ambient occlusion. We are actively looking into fixing other bugs to improve this further
  • Corrected an issue that was causing Steam to re-download the game when verifying the integrity of the game cache through the Steam client
  • Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when turning off Motion Blur in BmSystemSettings.ini. A future patch will enable this in the graphics settings menu

Aside from announcing a few of the bug fixes, they also shared some details regarding the things they are currently working on to improve the experience of players. These are:

  • Improve overall performance and framerate hitches
  • Fix for low resolution texture bug
  • NVIDIA SLI bug fixes
  • Enabling AMD Crossfire
  • NVIDIA and AMD updated drivers

"Batman: Arkham Knight" was developed by Rocksteady and was published by Warner Bros. The game was initially released last week, June 23, 2015.
