'Watch Dogs 2' release date, latest updates: New trailer showcases Zodiac Killer mission

(Facebook/watchdogsgame)'Watch Dogs 2' will hit shelves on Nov. 15.

A new trailer was uploaded onto the internet for "Watch Dogs 2" and it highlights the latest downloadable content (DLC) from the upcoming title. It introduces the Zodiac Killer mission where the main character is supposed to hunt down the infamous killer by solving his series of clues and puzzles.

A statement was shown in the beginning of the trailer, saying: "In 1969, the Zodiac Killer terrorized San Francisco. Despite all the clues, only one thing is known: he was never caught." The trailer featured some scenes where there are dead bodies lying around, possibly victims of the Zodiac Killer. Then a mysterious person called up Marcus, the game's main character, and told him that he has been watching him.

It is then up to Marcus to solve the mystery surrounding this killer by decoding the clues and riddles left behind. Based on a report from GameSpot, the DLC can only be accessed by players who were able to pre-order the sequel. Also, these gamers will also receive a new outfit for Marcus consisting of an orange buttoned shirt and pants plus a black statement t-shirt saying, "I Saw the Zodiac Killer." More will be discovered about the DLC once the title comes out.

According to a report from IGN, a new gameplay video was also launched and it shows that players have the freedom to complete missions any way they want to. There are three methods in completing them, and the first one is the Aggressor type where Marcus will utilize weapon to accomplish his objectives. If players want a stealthy kind of way to finish their mission, they can choose the Ghost method. Gamers can also lean on taking advantage of technology by hacking most of their surroundings. This is called the Trickster method.

"Watch Dogs 2" is slated to be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles on Nov. 15 while it will be launched for the PC on Nov. 29.
