WWE rumors: Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar will happen somewhere down the line

Rumors about a Bray Wyatt vs. Brock Lesnar feud came out in recent months but the WWE decided to shelve it for now.

One reason seen is the injury that Wyatt recently had, thus the shelving was done as a preventive measure since the company felt that pitting the "Eater of Worlds" against the "Beast Incarnate" could result in more injured stars.

Seeds of the possible feud started way back at the WWE Royal Rumble when the Wyatt Family attacked Brock Lesnar. From there, many were simply awaiting Lesnar and Wyatt to go at it. Such never happened, though they were originally scheduled to meet at WWE Roadblock.

Luke Harper eventually took his place for that match and Lesnar won it as expected. Be reminded that prior to the match, Lesnar was already booked for a street fight with Dean Ambrose at Wrestlemania 32.

But then again, there were some hoping for a sudden card change if Wyatt and company defeated Lesnar. It never happened and the original card between the Beast and Ambrose pushed through.

Being a "no disqualification" match, many once again toyed with the idea that the Wyatts would interfere in the match. Again, that never took place, and now, the uncanny family finds itself in the middle of a feud with the "League of Nations".

Seeing these events, it seems that Wyatt is still not 100% ready to take on Lesnar. He could be buying some time to allow his injury to heal but knows that at some point, he and Lesnar will eventually face each other.

If such does happen, seeing Wyatt face Lesnar alone could be a death sentence. Power-wise, it is obvious that this match will go to the heavily-favored Brock.

Once the WWE finally decides to make it happen, expect Wyatt to do what he does best – mind games. It has been seen as his asset based on previous opponents and likely to be the balancer that the WWE would need to push this match.

That has yet to happen, though the WWE may rekindle that rumor once again once Lesnar is back and Wyatt is 100% ready to take on the rampage of the Beast.
