Microsoft's Xbox Live, as recent news suggest, had encountered some major log in issues in their system a few days ago.

Aside from that, some members also reported that there seems to be some issues with the friend list. Fortunately for users, Xbox just released a statement assuring everyone that everything is functional and is running smoothly now.

According to a report by GameZone, last July 26, Xbox Live was affected by several major inconveniences including login issues and limited access to achievements. Moreover, some users were also having trouble downloading purchased content from the store, as well as purchasing downloadable items.

"We're aware that some of you are having issues unlocking Achievements, and we want to assure you that we are working hard to fix this as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience, Xbox members. We appreciate it," Microsoft said in their statement via GameZone.

Meanwhile, there were also a couple of complaints regarding the friend list bug, as reported by the same website. It was mentioned that people have been complaining about the inability to view whose friends of theirs are online.

Xbox Live has also released a statement regarding this issue and said via their Twitter post that "we're working hard on the current issues signing in to Xbox Live. Thank you for your patience."

Luckily, just a few hours after that, Xbox Live updated everyone on Twitter and shared that they have "cleared up all of our investigations! Tweet us any other questions & we'll be here to help until midnight, then back at 6 AM Pacific."

An updated report by GameSpot revealed that even the status page of Xbox Live has been updated. Everything appears to be "up and running" — from purchasing and downloading to logging in and seeing online friends.
