Most gamers are now feasting their eyes on trailers and coverage of the games that will be featured at next week's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016, and technology giant Microsoft, together with Electronic Arts (EA), is exerting extra efforts in making sure that players will be hooked with the Xbox One. EA Access, the subscription service that gives members unlimited access to the game publisher's most popular titles, will be free to all Xbox Live Gold members next week.

From June 12 to 22, players with the Xbox Live Gold membership can download the EA Access Hub application on Xbox One free of charge. With such a move, members can now play games like "Dragon Age: Inquisition, "Battlefield Hardline," "Titanfall," "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare," " Plants vs. Zombies," and "Dead Space."

The progress of the games during the said free-to-play days will carry over if members decide to pay for a subscription after the free-to-play period is done. Microsoft's senior communications manager Will Tuttle added that players will get to keep their Gamerscore and achievements earned while playing.

Meanwhile, Microsoft also announced via Twitter that more Xbox 360 titles will be added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility program.

The announcement was made by Xbox Live's director for programming Larry Hryb through the mentioned social media site.

The latest addition to the program are "XCOM: Enemy Within," "Foul Play," "Monopoly Plus," and "Sega Bass Fishing." It is the second time this week that Microsoft has launched a fresh list of titles, and said that more games are expected to pour in before E3 kicks off.

The technology giant is quiet in giving specific dates on games that will be imported to the program, as it opts to announce games when they are already playable on Xbox One.
