Initially, it was intended for competitive and professional gamers; however, given the positive response, it seems that all types of gamers are looking forward to purchasing the new accessory.

The Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller gives pro-level precision, game-changing accuracy and faster speed. It is heavily customizable to give players a unique style of play.

The all-black controller looks sleek and has a solid build. It is made with durable stainless steel components and features a rubberized diamond grip to give players stability with minimal effort. All in all, it has been designed to meet the demands of competitive gaming.

The accessory has an arsenal of swappable parts for improved performance and fit. Players can swap between a variety of metal thumbsticks, D-pads and paddles. Finding the right shape and fit can lead to an improved gaming experience and performance.

At the back are four slots for the paddles. The paddles allow for more control and efficient gameplay. Players can do jumps, aim and shoot, and execute devastating moves without having to release the thumbstick. The paddles can also be customized for different functions. The Hair Trigger Locks also allow players to fire faster. These locks stop trigger movement after each shot and gets ready for the next.

In order to create a unique and tailored style of gameplay, the controller can be customized in limitless ways. Using the official app, players can fine-tune trigger settings, thumbstick clicks and sensitivities, button assignments, and paddle functions.

Through the app, players can also create gaming profiles for specific games. For instance, gamers can have specific assignments for playing "Halo" and another for "Call of Duty." The controller can host two profiles at a time through the memory slots. Players can also choose among pre-built configuration profiles that have been created by the game developers.

The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller will be released on Oct. 27 and will be sold for $150. It is compatible with the Xbox One and PC.

It also comes in a package including a carrying case, four sets of paddles, a set of six thumbsticks (two standard, two tall and two domed), two sets of D-pads (faceted and standard) and a USB cable.
