ZTE is fighting hard to become one of the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturers and its efforts are starting to pay off. ZTE is now being recognized for releasing afforable and impressive devices. Just days after the release of the ZTE Axon Max, the company has once again released a new smartphone – the ZTE Voyage 3.

The ZTE Voyage 3 is an entry-level device that follows the Voyage 2, which was released last May. The smartphone was launched in China and is priced at 799 Yuan, which is about $123.

The Voyage 3 features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a 1280 x 720 screen resolution. In terms of dimensions, the device is 145 mm tall, 71.8 mm wide and 8.4 mm thick. It weighs 150 grams.

It is powered by a quad-core 1 GHz MediaTek MT6735 processor and 1 GB of RAM. There is 8 GB of internal storage but can be expanded up to 32 GB via a microSD card slot.

The smartphone comes with an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. There is also a 5 MP front-facing camera for selfies. It also features dual-SIM capability and 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity.

The ZTE Voyage 3 comes with the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with ZTE's UI on top. The device is available in two colors: Pearl White and Gold Silk Velvet.

Probably the most impressive feature of the Voyage 3 is its battery. The device is backed by a massive 4,080 mAh battery set to provide up to six days of light use and 355 days on standby. The ZTE Voyage 3 also comes with reverse charging so it can be used to charge other devices.

Given that the ZTE Voyage 3 is an entry-level device, its technical specifications aren't all that exciting. However, consumers looking for an affordable device with a long-lasting battery may find potential in this smartphone.

The ZTE Voyage 3 can be purchased in China through online channels or at retail stores. International availability has not yet been announced.
