In episode 8 of "Beauty and the Beast" season 4, Cat Chandler (Kristin Kreuk) will continue to convince the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that she has turned against her husband, while Vincent (Jay Ryan) will also work with an operative.
In the last episode, Cat was shown deceiving Vincent and bringing with her a bunch of DHS agents to ensure his capture. While it seemed at first that Cat has agreed it is best for Vince to turn himself in, the last part of episode 7 revealed that Vincent has sensed the underlying message his wife sent him.
The Homeland Security is beginning to trust Cat again, and in order keep that trust, she would have to be extra careful with her next moves. Meanwhile, Vincent has to convince everyone out to get him as well that he is now running away from his wife, too.
The next episode is titled "Love Is a Battlefield" and the synopsis states "Vincent goes undercover with a sexy operative, who Cat discovers is an assassin. Vincent has to play both sides, while Cat has to convince DHS she can still be trusted."
Season 4 will serve as the finale for the series as well, and with four more episodes to go, fans of the star-crossed lovers are dying to find out what kind of ending is in store for the pair. Will the ending see a cure for Vincent's beastly nature just like in the books?
Although times are getting tougher for them, viewers witness how their love for each other survives. In an interview with Zap2it, Kreuk might have revealed what kind of ending there is when she said, "I hope the people who struggled with the ups and down of the main characters' relationships will feel very satisfied by the end."
"Beauty and the Beast" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on The CW network.
