'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' season 1 updates: 'Naruto Shippuden's' replacement to have a unique story

(Facebook/Boruto)"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" premiere season arrives this April 5.

While many "Naruto Shippuden" fans are saddened that the anime series is finally coming to a fold after years of offering its brand of entertainment, they will be treated to a new anime series that will remind them of their favorite characters in "Naruto Shippuden." After all, the well-loved anime series is getting replaced by "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," which will follow the adventures of Boruto, Naruto's son.

According to reports, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will be set a few years after the Fourth Great Ninja War featured in the manga adaptation of "Naruto." By this time, Naruto is already married to Hinata, the princess of the Hyuga clan, whom he has a son named Boruto.

To the uninitiated, Boruto was already featured in his own movie released in 2015. Last year, Naruto's son was also given his own spin-off manga series, whose first story arc just ended last month.

The next chapter 11 of the manga series will feature a new story arc that will feature a now-teenage version of Boruto after defeating the story's villain, the Otsutsuki Momoshiki. It is also predicted that the manga version of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will feature Boruto becoming eventually stronger than his father, Naruto, as the curse mark left by Momoshiki is said to awaken his Byakugan bloodline.

While the events in the manga series of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" are nothing short of exciting, it has been reported earlier that fans cannot expect that the manga adaptation of the "Naruto" spin-off series will not be featured in the upcoming "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" anime as "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will have its own unique story that has never been featured either in the movie or in the manga.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" is scheduled to premiere over TV Tokyo on April 5, while "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" chapter 11 is expected to arrive this month.
