Boston Celtics trade rumors 2016: Wizards' John Wall on team's radar?

Washington Wizards All-Star point guard John Wall is now one of the hottest names in the trade rumor mill and it would be incomplete if the Boston Celtics are not included in the group of teams interested.

The Celtics' assets are the reasons why they are always linked to stars and prominent names. Together with these, it is believed they are finding that "impact player" who would help them be title contenders again.

Wall is definitely more than an impact player and he can be a star for any squad in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is going to be a significant piece for the Celtics or for the organization he is or will be a part of as his career goes on.

However, it is uncertain if the Celtics want Wall. They already have an All-Star at the no. 1 position with Isaiah Thomas and having another may lead to tension within the team. This also presents troubles for head coach Brad Stevens since he will need to choose who among them starts while the other settles with the reserve role.

If the Celtics target Wall, a possible offer to the Wizards is a package deal that has Thomas, Avery Bradley and a 2018 first-round pick (unprotected).

This is ideal since parting ways with Thomas eliminates the problem of having two All-Star point guards who are more than capable of starting in games. Stevens will then have the opportunity to focus on Wall.

Bradley is an efficient player, especially on defense, and any team would be willing to have him.

Future selections are deal sweeteners and sometimes are also major reasons why an exchange materializes.

This may work but for it to take place now is improbable. All the guys mentioned are crucial to their respective franchises and are likely to be kept in the years to come.
