'Daredevil' season 3 spoilers: Season to wait until 2018 to premiere

(Twitter/Daredevil)It may take a while before "Daredevil" season 3, but fans will still see the vigilante in "The Defenders," which will be released in 2017.

Netflix has other Marvel shows as priority and, while viewers will see Matt Murdock in one of them, "Daredevil" season 3 may have to wait until 2018 to premiere.

The streaming channel will prioritize the freshmen seasons of "Luke Cage" that will be shown before the year ends, "Iron Fist" and "The Defenders," which are scheduled for 2017 releases, before it will show the second season of "Jessica Jones" and third season of "Daredevil."

Fans of the vigilante (Charlie Cox) will be seeing him in "The Defenders" where he will be joined by Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) as well. Meanwhile, Cox is busy interacting with his fans and he recently joined two fan events last weekend. While there is not much to share about the upcoming season 3, the actor was able to share some details and thoughts on his character.

During the panel at the Dragon Con in Atlanta Georgia, Cox pointed out one difference between the cinematic character and the one found in the comics. Matt in the source material has red hair and Matt in the series doesn't. The actor shared that they tried dyeing his hair red, but "It really looked weird."

He also talked about the reason why the lawyer from Hell's Kitchen decided to become a vigilante and that's because, "Murdock knew he was gonna go out and make a difference."

Aside from wearing the costume, Cox also changes his voice when he takes on the "Daredevil" persona. As he deepens his voice, his producers told him, "You're starting to sound like Batman."

At the Toronto Fan Expo, he was asked about working on "The Defenders" and he shared that the relationship he is most excited about is that of Matt and Danny Rand, whose alter ego is Iron Fist. He said, "I just met Finn Jones the other day and I just think in the comics, that's a great relationship so I want to see how that works out on screen."

Fans will not be missing Matt Murdock for so long after all, but it may take a while before he heads back to Hell's Kitchen.
