Relationships will be tested in the upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13.

In the promo trailer for the episode called "Till I Hear It From You," Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) seems to be ready to take her budding relationship with Riggs (Martin Henderson) more seriously.

The trailer shows Meredith asking Riggs if he is taking her seriously, because she claims that she is not joking. Meredith is also seen in another clip urging him to ask her out to dinner. When Riggs asks, she immediately says yes.

But while things are looking good for Meredith and Riggs, it may not be the same for Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone). In the clip, the estranged couple are  arguing about the state of their relationship in the middle of a trauma case that is assigned to them. Will this finally solve their problem, or will it only make it worse?

Meanwhile, the synopsis for the episode also reveals that Maggie's (Kelly McCreary) mother Diane Pierce (LaTanya Richardson Jackson) will find her way back to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Diane first arrived in Seattle to surprise Maggie in episode 12 called "None of Your Business." She also had a consultation with Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) to remove a rash. But Jackson learned that it was not just a simple rash, since it was an indication of an inflammatory breast cancer. Jackson tried to help Diane tell Maggie about her condition, but they lost the opportunity when Maggie had an outburst and blamed her mother for failing to take care of her marriage with her father.

Based on the synopsis for the upcoming episode, Maggie still has no idea about her mother's condition. Could this be the right time for her mother to speak up and finally mend their relationship?

Bailey (Chandra Wilson) is also expected to try to fix things up between her and Richard (James Pickens Jr.), after their major falling out this season.

ABC will air the next episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 on Thursday, March 23, at 8 p.m. EDT.
