Fans are also raving about the forthcoming GTA 5 Online Heists. This has been delayed a number of times, but developers have finally confirmed that the waiting game will be over by 2015.

In an interview with IGN, GTA Online producer and lead designer Imran Sarwar admitted that development of Online Heists has taken longer than they expected it to be.

"To be honest, they just turned out to be a lot more difficult than we originally thought," he said.

"Our initial idea was to build on the concept of Story Mode heists to make a new gameplay experience for GTA Online that was more focused on cooperation, where everyone could play to their individual strengths and feel like they had a stake in the outcome."

Sarwar also mentioned the many months that the team has spent designing, testing and rewriting codes for this feature. GTA is known for high quality and incredible game caliber. They took hits on the delay, but they could not sacrifice the quality and reputation of the franchise.

One of the main challenges of Online Heists is that every player needs to feel central to the action at all times, which is not the case for the Story Mode.

"Heists will be ready early in 2015."
