After several episodes without Zooey Deschanel, it seems as though fans of "New Girl" are enjoying Megan Fox's character on the show.

Previous reports revealed that Deschanel took a maternity leave last year, which was the cause for her absence on some episodes of "New Girl" season 5. With that, the series introduced a new character, which is played by Fox, in order to take her place.

When the news of Fox's involvement on the show was released, fans were not sure of how she will affect the series. There were some fans who believed that Fox will not have the ability to take on a comedic role.

However, after seeing her on the series, it is evident that Fox can impress fans of "New Girl." Because of this, fans are hoping that her character, Reagan, will still be present in more episodes of the series, despite the fact that her storyline has already ended. There are speculations that Reagan will be seen in the wedding of Schmidt, played by Max Greenfield, and Cece, played by Hannah Simone.

Along with Reagan, Deschanel's absence brought the rest of characters to the limelight. With that, fans can expect the new dynamics to carry on even through Jess' return. It was reported that the focus of the series will shift away from Jess.

Nevertheless, the upcoming episode of "New Girl" is expected to see Jess' return to the loft. Titled "The Apartment," fans will have to say good-bye to Reagan, who will move out of the loft, and welcome Jess to the group once again.

According to Spoilers Guide, the synopsis for episode 11 reads, "It's time for CeCe (Hannah Simone) to move into the loft. Jess (Zoeey Deschanel) is helping her friend move out of her beloved apartment, she has to finish the school's budget by morning, which the new principal (guest star Elizabeth Berkley) has neglected to tell her. Winston (Lamorne Morris) gets a new partner (guest star Sam Richardson) to avoid having to work side-by-side with Aly (guest star Cavatappi Nasim Pedrad)."
