Although there is no specific release date yet, it is already said that "One Punch Man" season 2 will be more action-packed as compared to its first season. Allegedly, the upcoming season of the highly anticipated anime will open with an episode featuring Saitama/One Punch Man getting pitted against three villains.

According to rumors, when "One Punch Man" season 2 returns, it will already boast of heavy action at once as its episode 1 will feature Saitama battling three villains. Reportedly, the bald superhero will come face-to-face with Garou first, who, just like Saitama, is a human with super strength.

To the uninitiated, Garou has subjected himself to rigorous trainings just for one purpose: Hunt down the S-Class superheroes. Because of his super strength comparable to that of Saitama, fans can expect that it will take more than just one punch for the superhero to defeat him, if he really can, should the rumors about their encounter really happen.

Another villain that is said Saitama will battle in the first episode of "One Punch Man" season 2 is Lord Boros. Although Saitama already defeated and killed the monster in the season 1 finale of the anime, it is said that he has regenerated and will return to avenge his loss to the superhero. Allegedly, the monster will be back stronger than ever the last time he and Saitama came face-to-face.

The last alleged villain that will make the episode 1 of "One Punch Man" season 2 action-packed is Amai Mask. Although it is said that Saitama will not recognize Amai Mask as a villain ,and what will trigger their battle is unknown, rumors claiming that he will be back to challenge Saitama in season 2 are persistent as well.

Meanwhile, after it was announced at the latter part of September that there will, indeed, be "One Punch Man" season 2, Viz Media has yet to make an official statement as to when it will exactly air. Nonetheless, it is rumored that the anime series will return early 2017 for its second season run. Once it happens, only by then can it be confirmed whether the aforementioned rumors about its season 2 episode 1 are true or not.
