'One Punch Man' season 2 spoilers: Fans expecting manga arc to be in season 2 of 'One Punch Man'

Little is known about the upcoming season of "One Punch Man," but, with the latest updates on the manga, otaku or anime enthusiasts are expecting to see the arcs carried over to the TV show.

(Daisuki/OnePunchMan)"One Punch Man" season 2 new arc to usher in new heroes and villains

For those who have been following the manga or the Japanese comic books, the sought-after arc is the martial arts tournament that Saitama signs up for. According to reports, the arc will bring in new heroes and villains. But more importantly, the tournament will serve as an opportunity for Saitama to meet his match. After how many challenges and fights, this superhero has yet to see a worthy opponent. Perhaps the show will introduce one if the arc gets adapted in the anime version.

Aside from the possibility of finding a nemesis, sources also suggest that with a new array of enemies, Saitama could finally unleash his full strength.

In addition, the rumor mill has also churned speculations on an arc called Hero Hunt, wherein Saitama and his co-superheroes will be facing Garou, who is Bang's former disciple.

For the uninitiated, the show follows the life of protagonist Saitama who, so far, seems like the most powerful superhero in their universe. His unparalleled strength has led him to live a very indifferent life. Since he gained his immense strength, his thrill for fighting and for combat has been driven away because he can finish his enemies in one punch; hence, the name of the show.

Rumor has it that season 2 will be launched this year. If the rumors are true, the show will be launched mid-2017.

The release date for "One Punch Man" season 2 has yet to be revealed. The details for the upcoming season are still not out in the open; thus, anime enthusiasts should take the latest rumors with a grain of salt.
