'Sister Wives' season 8 cast rumors: TLC not happy with Kody's alleged plans of adding two more wives?

(Facebook/sisterwives)Will "Sister Wives" season eight ever happen?

Following the chaotic events in seasons six and seven of "Sister Wives," it seems as if the eighth season won't happen as rumors continue looming around the alleged plans of Kody Brown to further enlarge his huge family.

Recent reports suggest that Kody's purported plans of adding two new wives to his growing roster isn't sitting well with TLC. According to Blasting News, the network doesn't want to get involved in adding two more wives in Kody's list of wives. The polygamist has four wives already that he shares a roof with, plus numerous children that he calls his own, though not all of them are truly his since he adopted them from his current wives' previous marriages.

Rumor has it that the two new wives are younger than Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn, Kody's four wives. The speculations go as far as detailing that one of the ladies is actually a family friend, while the other is Robyn's relative.

The rumors were further fueled when Kendra Pollard, a friend of Robyn's, purportedly told Hollywood Life late last month that Kody wants to take revenge of his current wives since they haven't been supportive of him.

According to Pollard, Kody wants to add Amber, another family friend, and Mindy Jessop, Robyn's step-niece, to his wives list. While there is no official confirmation regarding the report, fans are starting to doubt the Brown patriarch's standards.

TLC, on the other hand, is reportedly unhappy with whatever Kody wants for season eight. The network has not yet renewed the reality series, and as the days pass by, cancellation rumors are getting more and more rampant.

The Christian Times adds that Meri's catfishing scandal may add to the pressure on TLC. Many fans were disappointed upon learning of Meri's scandal. Mariah, Meri's daughter, ignited more rage when she revealed in season seven's Tell All that she tried to warn her mother about the consequences of what she got into. Unfortunately, Meri didn't listen.

Aside from Meri and Kody's personal issues, there's Janelle, whose differences with Meri seemed to have been highlighted in the previous installment. They seem to never get things done properly due to their contradicting insights on even the smallest issues. This could further be a reason for TLC to think things over since the network initially wanted to show the good side of a polygamous clan.

"Sister Wives" season eight has yet to be announced by TLC.
