USA's hit legal drama "Suits" got its season 6 renewal last year, right after the fifth season's premiere. Even though the show's latest season just recently ended, there are already new reports on the plot of the upcoming season.

Season 6 will start on Mike Ross's life behind bars and his colleagues will sort out their next move with the firm.

The finale of season 5 saw the acquittal of Mike's trial for fraud. However, he already had an agreement with US Assistant Dictrict Attorney Anita Gibbs, in order to save the firm from being held liable for his wrongful and fraudulent actions. So, he still ended up in prison.

In an interview by Stuff NZ, Gabriel Macht, who plays Harvey Specter, revealed that Louis and Harvey will work together to save the firm despite their differences. "It's a love-hate relationship. Harvey loves to hate him," he said. ". [In season six] there's a big mess, the house of cards has fallen so we're going to see how they build Pearson Specter Litt back up. And the first thing is to get Harvey and Louis back on track. I've read the first episode and I can't give you too much, but I'll tell you this: if you can imagine these characters in a sort of Breakfast ClubScenario, there's some good hijinks."

The showrunner and series creator Aaron Korsh told The Hollywood Reporter that they are still in the process of figuring out the length of Mike's imprisonment. However, he confirmed that he will not study for his law degree or become some jailhouse lawyer. They are still crafting something "different and unexpected."

He added that season 6 will show how Mike handles his new environment and how his imprisonment will affect his personal relationships, as wells as how the people left in the firm deal with the ruined firm.

"Suits" will return later this year.
