American football icon Tim Tebow, has struggled with his position as a quarter-back since his release from the Broncos in March 2012.

But even though he has been traded, released, and now working as a free-agent, he continues to stay positive.

Still the prospects of the committed Christian player starting in the NFL have dimmed.

"If Tim Tebow wants to resume his dream of playing quarterback in the NFL, he should start looking for jobs north of the border and in the Arena Football League," wrote Richard Langford in the Bleacher Report on Tuesday.

"I don't know if Tebow just steadfastly refuses to go this route or if he is delusional in thinking that an NFL team will come knocking, but he hasn't shown any interest in getting back to work in a lower-level league."

Tebow tweeted on August 31, "@TimTebow...of continuing my lifelong dream of being an NFL quarterback. 2 Corinthians 12:9: And He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient'..."

Jason Fagone, writer for GQ wrote in an article titled, "Does God Have a Tim Tebow Complex?" that Tim Tebow learned he wanted to become a quarter-back at the age of 11, when his coach asked him to lean down on one knee and throw the football as far as he could.

In the article Tebow stated, "My whole life, my dream has been to be a quarterback."

After the Broncos signed Colts legend Peyton Manning and traded Tebow to the New York Jets, Tebow has been faced with numerous obstacles.

Ira Boudway, writer for Bloomberg BusinessWeek said, "A year later, the Jets released him. In June of this year, the New England Patriots signed him to a contract with no guaranteed money. Two months later, they cut him."

After being cut from the New England Patriots, he became a free agent.

Furthermore, Tebow might have the opportunity to make a come-back if the Jacksonville Jaguars' add him to their roster.

Jesse Reed, another writer for the Bleacher Report states, "They have managed to complete just 53 percent of their passes, averaging a pitiful 5.5 yards per attempt."

He became a national celebrity in 2011 not only for his football heroics, but also due to his wholesome image and outspoken Christian faith.

"Why not, Jacksonville? Don't let the media circus scare you away. If it's Tebow time yet again, there will be droves of fans ready to welcome him with open arms. You could have done better, but at this point you're already doing worse," wrote Ethan Grant for the Bleacher Report.

Tebow has had a rough time since his release from the Broncos in March 2012.
